Merritt Island, Florida — Innovative REMIX Campaign created by brandt ronat + company wins marketing awards in three major national competitions. The REMIX campaign created for Community Credit Union of Florida earned a Credit Union National Association Diamond Award for electronic marketing; a CAMEO from CSCU for overall online campaign; and Golden Mirror award from Credit Union Executives Society for the television campaign component.
In each case, the work was selected from hundreds of entries submitted by credit unions around the United States.
The REMIX campaign was created using hand-drawn illustrations, created by Julian Bennett of brandt ronat + company, with choreographed movements using actual hands for the key video elements for website, tv commercials, social postings and other applications at the heart of the campaign. Aimed at a younger demographic, REMIX represents taking a strong visual concept targeted to a specific audience in an integrated approach to include a mix of traditional and non-traditional media. It’s also a lot of fun.

The concept for the campaign was created by Linda Brandt and Jay Decator, written by Jay Decator and William Ronat, illustrated by Julian Bennett with hand choreography by Christine Manning Brandt. The videos for the campaign were directed by Jay Decator.
“The norm for most animation these days is digital, so we went in the other direction,” said Linda Brandt, president of brandt ronat + co. “The camera was locked down and the graphics were moved around the ‘stage’ by a real pair of hands. This not only gave the spots a sense of whimsy but also a more personal feeling than a straight digital animation. That personal approach is right for the demographic and right for Community Credit Union of Florida.”
The REMIX campaign has been recognized on a national level by these organizations:
