Third BRC Gathering a Flocking Success

Thanks to our fellow FLOCK-ers who migrated up to BRC’s home office at 60 McLeod Street last night. Read on for a few photos, some highlights from the discussion, and FREE helpful resources mentioned during the presentation.

Highlights:
• Flock is a free, award-winning social web browser. CNET gave it a 5 out of 5 rating, and Entrepreneur Magazine said that the integrated sidebar was reason enough to make the switch from Internet Explorer or Firefox
• Its ability to integrate social media services into one singular location can help you gain control of your daily information stream
• It allows you to both create and consume content, all while managing multiple profiles from one place
• An integrated user interface allows seamless information management, without interrupting your workflow

The presentation was just great. Thanks for inviting me. I urge you to do another one so I can get our marketing professionals to attend, or at least do a video presentation they can watch. Suggestion #2: have a Flock v.2 presentation/meeting after everyone has had some time to experiment with Flock.

Lisa & Team,

You folks did a great job explaining this new tool.

Honestly, I was "luke-warm" about the Flock tool before the presentation started. But, as with all new tools, you need to understand what the tool is MEANT to do - this is not just another browser. It is much more highly specialized for integrating mail, social media, and marketing work. You may not fully replace your old browser with this, but that was never the value that Flock wants to offer.

Thanks again to B&R for showing us how this tool is really meant to be used!

Sean Phelan,
Sequoia Internet Solutions.
