Melinda Ridgley

VICE PRESIDENT, ACCOUNTS
STRATEGIST/ROLL OUT EXPERT
SALES CHANNEL SPECIALIST
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Melinda’s past experience as a corporate marketing executive gives her a strong understanding of client needs, budgets and time restraints.

Melinda Ridgley has a proven ability to successfully market and conduct business in multiple foreign markets including Asia, Europe, South America and the Caribbean. She is able to sculpt brand message world-wide through knowledge of language, global business climates, competitive threats and cultural nuances.

Melinda has been active in the marketing, advertising and branding industries since 1997, when she joined a small start-up advertising agency as an intern. Two years later, following aggressive company growth, Melinda earned the role of Manager of Account Services where she led the account executive team and worked with notable clients such as Florida State University, Bank One and FirstUSA.  Melinda’s contribution to core corporate process, production management and client service was an integral component in the many successes of this rapid growing, award-winning advertising agency.

In 1999, Melinda founded a marketing firm specializing in new media, branding and “advergaming”.  Her entrepreneurial drive, creativity and hard work helped her to build a strong and successful organization attracting such clients as Burger King, YUPO Corporation and Heineken.  After earning the accolade of “Central Florida’s Fastest Growing Technology Firm”, Ridgley sold her portion of the successful Orlando Company and moved to the Space Coast.

Melinda is very active in the community. In 2007, she and her husband, Bryan, were named Volunteers of the Year by the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast.  According to an article published in Florida Today, George Mikitarian, the commission’s board chairman, said the Ridgleys were recognized for “their service … with a new type of passion, commitment, determination and a gut for knowing what’s right when they see it.”

Melinda was listed as “Up-And-Comers” in the 2008 “100 Most Influential Business Leaders” list published by Space Coast Business Magazine. Among the criteria for winning this designation—“people with a wide sphere of local influence; people with the personal and/or business resources to get things done…”
