USC School of Cinematic Arts and br+c Capture Moving Images Using Same Gear

brandt ronat + company is proud of the quality work that we create for our clients, and since purchasing the Sony EX-1 video camera we have been able to capture and produce video at a very high level. To give you an independent look at the work this camera can do, we wanted to share this video from the Sony website.

“USC School of Cinematic Arts alum George Lucas and the School's faculty and students discuss why digital filmmaking is the future of the industry.

USC's SCA has always prided itself on having the most advanced cameras to teach their students and the EX enables filmmakers' creativity while producing "absolutely stunning images." EX offers high quality, affordable HD that is efficient and cost-effective with a streamlined workflow, perfect for the School's needs.

Mr. Lucas calls the quality of the EX camcorders “beyond anything else he's ever worked with.”

The celebrated bullfrog of Brevard County has won another accolade by being recognized at the state level by the American Advertising Federation – Fourth District ADDY® Awards Competition. The award winner was created by brandt ronat + company in the category of ELEMENTS OF ADVERTISING: Single Illustration for the Cocoa Beach Wine and Food Festival presented by Craig Technologies. The Cocoa Beach Wine and Food Festival was held on March 13, 2010, in Cocoa Beach and featured a concert by the rock group,Three Dog Night. The winning illustration pays homage to one of the band’s greatest hits, “Joy to the World”, by showcasing Jeremiah the bullfrog (who always had some mighty fine wine), the fishes in the deep blue sea, and a style that is reminiscent of album covers from a bygone age.
Florida Today Columnist Writes About Art of Sand Corporate Challenge Experience

Suzy Fleming Leonard, part of Florida Today's Corporate Challenge for the Art of Sand Festival, recently recounted her team's experience in the newspaper.

It was an unlikely grouping of co-workers, gathered much too early on a Saturday morning in what usually is an empty field in Cape Canaveral.

Our task: Create a sand sculpture as part of the Corporate Challenge at the Art of Sand festival.

The larger-than-life creations by international artists are amazing. They've created an outdoor museum of intricate buildings, dancers, statues and plants, all carved from sand.

The master artists' works are mesmerizing.

But on that Saturday, we had our own masterpiece to think about.

She goes on to detail the preparation and execution of her team's sculpture. And while they didn't go home with the prize, she ended on a nostalgically positive note:

For a few hours on a Saturday in April, we enjoyed playing in the sand. We didn't win the trophy. That went to Brandt-Ronat and Co. for its sea turtle nest.

But we still left with a prize.

We'd won a grown-up day that would make any child envious.

We'd have to agree!

Navigating the Media Marketplace

Brandt Ronat + Company is launching a special service line: Media Budget Consultation/Review and Recommendation.

In the community, we have many conversations with business people. Some of them are already our clients, but more often than not, these people are business colleagues, acquaintances and friends. They are business people focused on the day-to-day operations of their business and marketplace. They are extremely interested in how they are spending their media marketing and advertising budget. But they don’t always have all the information they need to stay knowledgeable and current about the media options that are available.

Or, they are extremely savvy marketers who have significant marketing budgets but don’t have enough time to stay on top of the rapidly changing current state of options that exist in the media world. They are wondering: “does that $200,000 annual contract still make sense? Can we save our company money and still get results? How do I recommend moving away from what has always worked?”

Best of Campaign - Brevard Cultural Alliance
Title: Fall for the Arts Campaign

The Fall for the Arts Campaign was a special partnership which took many dedicated hands. While b r + c created the campaign strategies and the core elements as well as the advertising pieces, the crown jewel of this campaign was the special 8 full pages of editorial coverage, called Art matters, designed and produced by FLORIDA TODAY in support of arts and culture in Brevard. Additionally, a special insert on Fall for the Arts appeared in Space Coast Living. This kind of cooperation and community-building action by these media partners should be applauded.
