Brandt Ronat & Company Assists Space Foundation in Promoting National Space Symposium for Third Year

National Space
Symposium 2003

Colorado Springs, CO, April 2003: The National Space Symposium is proclaimed by many as the premier gathering of space professionals anywhere in the world. April 7-11, 2003 was the 19th Annual NSS and the third time that Brandt Ronat & Company helped our client the Space Foundation (the sponsoring organization), promote and brand this major event.

Marking the 20th Anniversary of Space Foundation, we designed and had fabricated a commemorative coin, celebrating the Space Foundation's two decades as Champions of the High Frontier.

This year the team (of Space Foundation and Brandt Ronat & Company) was able to find even more ways to nurture the event and guide registrations to the web. Email communications continue to grow in importance as the organization's email newsletter SPACEWATCH matures (design strategy created by BRC). Each major event now has a branded HTML-enriched email template which is a fast, flexible and economical promotional distribution tool. All messages, print or electronic, point to the web for online registration.

The organization, with a function-rich web site, has been able to do what many event and meeting planners only hope to accomplish—which is to switch the momentum from print to electronic for pre-promotion and registration.

When it comes time for the event, there is much for us to provide which is tangible, from programs to event tickets to exhibitor guides, signs and banners of all sizes, multiple specialty items and on-screen presentation graphics.

Brandt Ronat & Company proudly serves as the lead design strategy team for Space Foundation year-round and provides core designs, ad campaigns, electronic and signage templates and puts key graphic translations and adaptations into the waiting hands of specialty vendors and production personnel around the world.

Now we are looking ahead to promoting the 20th National Space Symposium, already having produced theme graphics and teaser advertising for next April. As well, we are concurrently promoting Strategic Space 2003 (to be held in September 2003) and International Space Symposium (to be held in October 2003 ).

Theme graphics welcome participants and mark the entrance to the main hall at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.

Multiple screens and large scale graphics add drama and enhance participation by attendees.

At registration, we helped the Space Foundation prepromote a number of upcoming events including Strategic Space 2003, International Space Symposium and the 20th Anniversary of National Space Symposium in 2004.

In conjunction with the symposium, the Space Foundation and its sponsors brought middle school classes to meet an astronaut, learn about life in space and tour aerospace exhibits.
